Is there any way to prevent aphid infestation? (Answers: 4) (Comments: 0)
So, I grew all these seedlings, tomatos, peppers and herbs. I started them inside in a mini greenhouse seed starter kit. Within a few weeks they were covered in aphids, hundreds of these evil little bugs which drained all the life from my seedlings. When I first noticed them I bought insecticidal soap and began spraying them regularly. This did not kill them, they just came right back. I talked with an associate at a garden store and she said this is because they multiply every three days and are born pregnant. The only thing these little guys did not completly destroy were my cayanne peppers! The lady at the store said there was nothing I could do or spray to prevent them when I start growing again, she said I have to wait until I see them and then start spraying with the soap. Is there anything that will keep them away?

Im interested in working for a marijuana seed company one day (such as greenhouse seed co.) but not sure what college degree mite help land a job. i know its in horticulture but is there like a specific degree?
