Can you help me get started on a resume? (Answers: 1) (Comments: 0)
The thing is I've never had a job before but I've volunteered at dozens of places and in my horticulture class (two years of it) I was in charge of ordering products, recording all the stats for the fish tanks, managing the greenhouse projects, selling flowers when we had the sales, etc. We also took notes on the computer while the teacher talked. So my typing and listening and multitasking all improved.
So what I'm getting at is I learned a lot of basic skills.
I don't know how to put it down on paper though. I want to start applying for assistant jobs, or a secretary like position. Something without a lot of physical labor because I have back pain that no one can seem to fix.
I'm still pretty young (18 in a few days) with no experience so I'm not looking for a really high power job...but I don't wanna resort to fast food places either.
How do I get this started? What do I put where? Do I customize it each time I apply for a different type of position? What am I supposed to say without looking inadequate and unqualified? Help!?
This is long, sorry. Thank you in advance if you take time to offer advice.
Right now I'm considering using the functional template from this page, http://www.squawkfox.com/2009/04/29/free-resume-template/

Can plants be grown in an empty warehouse? (Answers: 2) (Comments: 0)
When I bought my house there was a small run down warehouse that came with it. I use it as a big garage/storage but I was wondering if plants would be able to survive in it. It gets as much light as a room with two windows (not facing sun). It has industrial lighting (metal halides I think maybe HPS have not had to change them yet more orange than blue) but they are rather high up (10').
I have some extra space and would like to try a little greenhouse project for some rarer things that don't grow well in this hemisphere anyways (legal things mind you)

Can these springtails get in? (Answers: 1) (Comments: 0)
So,I have this greenhouse project with my class. My sciene teacher took care of them well, and these springtails( I suppose these mini white bugs) I've heard are in some of the bottles we used.I've only noticed 1 inside my bottle today.and i took it home, thats when i noticed it.I know they are harmless but i don't want crawlies around the place. so i covered the bottle top with an plastic thing,(very thin, sticks together)
I decided not to keep the plants too wet,and i am growing zinnias, would springtails be able to come?(hope not.)
